Oh….yall still reading this newsletter? We hope it finds you well and doesn’t interrupt your viewing of Shogun on FX/HULU……as you likely read this, 1/2 of Scheme will be wanting to off themself in Hamptons traffic for work while Kyle does what Kyle does on a Friday. Moral is grim. Every day is a struggle to not act on our impulses and take your preorder money and just purchase Herman Miller chairs1 and defraud everyone. However, there is a light in the dark though. It’s the little things like putting out ill releases that keep us begrudgingly going…..if we don’t, who will?2
Well good news to those who remain true (motherfucker) and are fellow soldiers in the trenches….Scheme is here to remind you who’s keepin it real in 2024 and present you the newest in Conericot Hardcore, the new 7” from WRECKAGE:
The atypical hardcore release lineage is often the Demo → EP → LP pipeline, but what did WRECKAGE decide to do after dropping their first EP? Fuck it yo, lets do another EP wit even less songs. Who needs to rush an LP that no one wants to do ?3
The new batch of tracks is a good mesh of the previous joints…….some fast parts…some OSPO parts…..a lil more melodic parts (read: e*o) but played by people who like 25 TA LIFE. Its a good showcase and leaves WRECKAGE at a good point to choose what path to go down in the metaphorical forest that is 2020’s hardcore (feels gross to write that, yuck): Will Wreckage go full blown Emotive Hardcore? Or will they get cut out the emo bullshit and do something Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger? Time will tell.
For now though….you can choose and express what you think by purchasing the record through us or one of our many fine associates, giving it a listen, and expressing your self on the dance floor or just crossing your arms and texting the GC that yo this band sucks. You can wear a FLOORPUNCH shirt and do butterfly kicks to the new songs. Nothing makes sense anymore anyway.

There is three variants: Black, Ruby Red, and Baby Blue. We got a #limited amount of the band variant Blue in our store so act quickly. We kinda did a YOT thing but not really with this release. If u know, U Know. The band will be your avenue for blue copies…how you will get them is to be determined…feats of strength, attending a show with $10, a secret third thing (Likely this *eyes peeled emoji*)
