6/12/2026 - SCHEME HAS RETURNED + NEW WRECKAGE
SCHEME REPORT:
The morning haze is evaporating, the afternoon heat is taking its place… Supertouch’s greatest achievement (BETTER) blares through the HQ sound system, and one last brush stroke in this perfect picture… Scheme Records technical difficulties.
It should be out by now (I don’t foresee us inputting the launch codes on this sucker without confirmation..) so hopefully you can read along while you listen to a sneak peak of the 1st Wreckage LP entitled “Life on Display” due out 7.10.2026 exclusively from Scheme Records. Before you call OUR TIME an LP again please understand you know nothing. It’s an EP on 12” with bonus songs out of respect to you .. the fans.
Enough Scheme correcting some problem1s: the first song were showing to give you a taste of this platter is called “Further Beyond”, I’ve got no sharp wit to describe hardcore music on this nasty of Fridays. It sounds like hardcore, maybe hardcore leaning towards the style that we’ve set our sails to the last few months so if you like competent guitars and thoughtful lyrical approach’s’.. give us a shot or 100 shots.. fuck it tell a friend…..and if that stuff isn’t your bag, don’t worry.. the Shits Creek 7” will be here sooner than you can maintain a job site injury and collect works comp for the summer.
In the less ethereal world of Scheme events, we’ve got two nice tours going on as we speak..
I think this is Method Of Doubts first West Coast tour, I’m probably wrong. But its for sure their first time on the West Coast with Atlanta Emotional - HC band Slow Fire Pistol. As you’ll see in my playlist section a tour like this feels drawn in the stars for the kind of stuff I’ve been into lately. A decidedly DIY approach to hard-core music made by people with intention are traits you would also assume would be the default position, but in grim reality that’s obviously not the case so to see these 2 groups of people I’m lucky enough to know striking out to play in all of these places feels hopeful at the very least. I’d hope the response to these shows is positive, and I don’t mean in ticket or merch sales (but that also helps…) but in a way where the shows effect people in one way or another. Id say the best result would be Kent McClard writes an exhaustive review of the show and insults Liam personally.
This baby is about a quarter of the way through, Feels Like Heaven and Speedway are just beginning tho. This is the first leg of what we could call a world tour, they’ll be playing South East Asia in a couple months and then if all things go to plan; US Dates are planned for this Fall. I think taking on this many shows with the same people in both bands for the most part is a monument to the bonds of friendship, something that could break lesser people in half. So to keep this machine rolling along pull up to a show, sing along, politely tell them how handsome they are and how good they played and maybe just maybe buy a piece of merchandise or a record from Feels Like Heaven if you for some reason don’t already own several copies.
On that same very subject…..FEELS LIKE HEAVEN - WITHIN DREAMS second press is live on our store for the time being if you haven’t seen along with some other stuff if you’re feeling overburdened by the weight of your massive wealth.

SILENT MAJORITY - YOU WOULD LOVE TO KNOW 12” (FROM THE BAND & MILES TO GO PRESENTS)
This one of those long time coming type events but good things take that time and more importantly, consideration. I think Chris & myself feel very fortunate to be able to assist with this release in the minor ways that we did, I designed the merch with help from the band and he made sure the records got ordered and delivered where they’re supposed to along with some other boring back end shit that god knows no one wants to deal with. First dropped on Compact Disc by Initial Records in Y2K, you got five tracks of some of the bands best material, encapsulating the feel and vibe of coming of age as a suburban coreman on Long Island; all under 20 minutes. You could be from Anywhere, USA and can probably relate to this record.
For fans of going to the diner after a show, driving aimlessly around in the middle of the night, and that one 7 Seconds record.”
He’s got a better hold on this2 then I ever will because of the monument that Silent Majority represents on Long Island but even from my angle they cast this massive shadow of how you can exist as a hardcore band. One time I listened to the singer tell a really funny story about Disciplinary Action... for that reason alone I recommend you support this joint venture from the band and Miles To Go (Records) Presents here..
